ACOREX WINE HOLDING HAS CONFIRMED THE HIGH QUALITY AND SAFETY OF ITS PRODUCTS THROUGH ISO 22000:2005 CERTIFICATION

Acorex Wine Holding is the first Moldovan company which has obtained an international ISO 22000:2005 certificate, implementing this product safety and quality management system at all operational levels. The certification body was Aja Registrars Ltd., UK. 

The implementation of ISO 22000:2005 enables the company to control the product safety and quality rigorously at all process stages and maintain the high quality of its wines. This standard is integrated with ISO 9001 and implies interactive information exchange at all production stages, system management, implementation of a set of pre-requisites and observance of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles.

HACCP is a system to implement and ensure product safety in production and procession of foodstuffs throughout the process chain: from raw materials and packaging procurement to delivery of the product to final consumers. Different from the other quality control systems based on periodical tests of raw materials and finished products, HACCP ensures permanent monitoring of the total production cycle. At present the implementation and certification of a HACCP system either has already become (USA, EC member countries) or would soon become (CEE) a statutory requirement to any food industry company.

ISO 22000:2005 certification has become another proof to support the correctness of the strategy chosen by Acorex Wine Holding many years ago: leadership in the quality of the produced wine.
